What accommodation do we offer?

KADS Support offers a nurturing, therapeutic environment where the young person can feel safe and comfortable in their surroundings. 

+Shared accommodation +Stand alone units +24-hour support units.

Young People Will Have:

Own Space

Their own bedroom and storage facilities in which they can create their own environment by choosing décor etc.

Security

All bedrooms are secure, and each young person will be provided with a key in order to ensure privacy and to keep their personal items safe.

Shared amenities

The young person will share a living room, kitchen with food and all cooking facilities available, dining room, bathroom and 2 toilets, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Access to support

Support 24/7 to offer guidance and support to the young people.

Build links with the community

Support from staff so the young person can build a positive rapport with the local community.

Access to learn new skills

Support and guidance with cooking and laundry, budgeting, encourage the young person to attend education / work placement and support in accessing a variety of information that is needed regarding health, benefits, housing etc.

Emergency Placements

KADS Support can offer respite or accommodate in an emergency if it is deemed suitable for the young person. All paperwork and risk assessments will need to be received upon arrival in order to reassure suitability and safeguard other accommodated young people.
